Equal Voice is excited to announce that applications are now open for their Newfoundland and Labrador Virtual Municipal Campaign School scheduled to take place on Tuesday July 15th and Thursday July 17th between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The campaign schools are designed to equip women and gender-diverse individuals with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to run for municipal office in Newfoundland and Labrador. Equal Voice is a multi-partisan organization and this program will provide the opportunity to hear from elected officials and experts.
With municipal elections coming up in October, now is the perfect time for women and gender diverse individuals to begin preparing for their campaign. Whether they’re considering running or supporting someone who is, this campaign school is an excellent opportunity for them to learn and connect.
