Due to Christmas Day and Boxing Day falling on regular waste collection days, regular waste collection for Christmas week only will take place in Marystown on Wednesday, December 24th (instead of Thursday, December 25th).
Due to New Year’s Day falling on a regular waste collection day, regular waste collection for New Year’s week only will take place in Marystown on Wednesday, December 31st (instead on Thursday, January 1st).
The landfill site will be closed on Thursday, Christmas Day, and Friday, Boxing Day. The site will close at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 27th, and remain closed on December 28th and 29th. The site will re-open on Tuesday, December 30th. The site will be closed on Thursday, New Year’s Day.
Bulk waste collection in Marystown will take place during Christmas week as follows:
Monday, December 22nd
Black Brook; Greenwood Street and extensions; Creston Boulevard (Creston South); Charlotte Street and extensions; Ville Marie Drive (Keyin College Road to Route 220 Grand Bank Highway)
Tuesday, December 23rd
Ville Marie Drive (Creston North) to Queen Street; Harris Drive and Harris Drive extensions
Friday, December 24th
Marine Drive to Little Bay; Bayview Street and McGettigan Boulevard to Mooring Cove
Residents are advised that after December, there will only be one more bulk waste collection in January after which bulk waste collection will cease until April. Please take advantage of this service while you can.
