Council adopted the Town’s 2026 Budget on January 27th. Councillor Edwards, Chair of the Finance Committee, was unable to be present in person and attended the meeting electronically. As Co-Chair, Councillor Keating presented the budget.
It was a balanced budget with revenues and expenditures at $9,553,216.47.
All mil rates, sewer rates, minimum taxes and fees for permits, licenses and development will remain the same as last year.
Due to the increasing cost of chemicals for the water treatment plant, water rates will increase by $5.00 per month or $60.00 for the year.
