The Town of Marystown is now accepting applications for election officials for the 2025 Municipal Election.
The Deputy Returning Officer (DRO) will be responsible for the overall administration of the polling division he/she is assigned to including opening and closing the poll, receiving ballots, counting votes and delivering the sealed ballot box and statement of polling division to the Returning Officer (RO).
The Poll Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the poll book and assisting the DRO in polling division administration.
The Supervisor will act as a liaison between the RO and DRO/Poll Clerk and will be responsible for directing electors to the proper polling station, ensuring the polling stations are free from any campaign materials/campaigning, ensuring polls close on time and contacting the RO if there are any issues.
