Residents of Ville Marie Drive/McGettigan Boulevard are advise that there will be a water shut-off on Thursday, October 1st, to repair a water leak. This shut-off will start at 8:00 a.m. and last for an indefinite period of time. The shut-off will start at Raymond’s Road and end at McGettigan Boulevard as per the mapping below.
While those affected within the marked area will lose their water, all residents of Marystown are advised that because this shut-off will affect a 14″ main line, all residents will experience some drop in water pressure.
Once the water has been turned back on, residents and businesses are advised to turn on their outside/cold water taps to mitigate issues with air in their lines and discoloration.
