The new Walk of Hope Trail is currently under construction. This trail will provide users with a quiet space to walk and enjoy nature, tranquil areas for reflection and a bell at the top of the hill. This celebratory bell will be placed especially for cancer warriors and others fighting a health battle so that they may ring the bell not only when they reach the end of their treatment, but as they reach milestones in regaining their health.
The Town of Marystown will be selling daffodil and tulip flower bulbs in support of the Walk of Hope Trail. These bulbs will be set along the trail this fall by staff working on the trail to ensure they bloom next spring and every spring in honour of a loved one.
Bulbs are available for $10.00 each and can be purchased in person at the Town Hall or by sending an EMT to [email protected]. Those sending EMTs should include the following information in the comments section of the transfer:
* Full name of purchaser(s) [donation receipt available if requested]
* Type of bulb – daffodil or tulip
* Number of bulbs of each type being purchased
* Name of person each bulb is in memory of
