Unfortunately, littering continues to be a problem for our beautiful town. This is just one example of the problem we face.
The Town is once again asking residents to refrain from throwing garbage out of their car windows or just dropping it on the ground. This is not how we want to present our community to visitors and tourists.
Please keep your garbage in your car until you can properly dispose of it. Consider getting a reusable trash bag for your car. If you’re walking, please make use of our green bins or hold onto your trash until you can dispose of it. But please, do not litter!
If you are a witness to littering, please report it either to the Town or the RCMP – the more information you can provide i.e., names, license plate, etc., the better.
