Users of the Town’s Dog Park are reminded of the need to pick up after their dogs. There have been complaints regarding the lack of poop-scooping, which has been causing issues for others who are picking up after their dogs.
The Town has provided the dog park as a safe and clean environment for dogs to run, play and socialize with other dogs but it needs to be kept clean and that requires everyone’s cooperation.
We kindly ask all dog owners to keep an eye on their dog so they can clean up after them the moment they go.
To those dog owners who have been cleaning up, we thank you for doing your part.
Bag it, tie it, bin it! Keep it clean!
(For anyone who questions why the Town isn’t providing pooper-bags…they have been provided in the past but the receptacle was vandalized and the bags strewn about. Users should bring their own bags.)
