The Public Works Department continues to work on the main water line that broke at Penney Street. Water is still off for an indefinite period of time and a post will be made as soon as the water is ready to be turned on.
A section of Ville Marie Drive will be closed from the shipyard to Penney Street as the break caused a washout that could be dangerous for motorists. Motorists will have to drive alternate routes to avoid the area.
Once the water has been turned back on, residents are advised to turn on their outside taps to mitigate issues with air in their lines and discoloration.
