Water Shut-off, Wednesday, September 4th

Residents are advised that there will be a water shut-off from Bill Barry’s Road to Raymond’s Road starting at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, September 4th. This water shut-off will not affect Bill Barry’s Road however, a portion of Raymond’s Road, all of Baker’s Cove Road/Place, the high school and a portion of Ville Marie Drive (from the intersection of Bill Barry’s Road to St. Gabriel’s Hall/Bern Farrell’s apartments) will be affected. Please see the aerial mapping for more details.

This water shut-off will be for an indefinite period of time to facilitate the tie-in of a new main waterline at Raymond’s Road by Wally Drake’s Trucking.

Residents are advised to turn on their outside taps or inside cold water taps to mitigate issues with air in their lines and discolouration once the water is turned back on.

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks you for your patience as we work on relocating the Town’s main waterline in preparation for the installation of the bailey bridge.
