Still In Effect as of August 3/22 – Water Conservation

The Town of Marystown is urging residents and businesses to conserve water effective immediately. Due to the hot weather and lack of rain, the water level at Clam Pond has dropped and is continuing to drop. Without the cooperation of all residents and businesses, the Town may be forced to implement further restrictions to ensure water levels do not drop dangerously low.

Excessive water usage has placed a high demand on the Town’s water supply and in that regard, we are asking residents to restrict the use of water for the purpose of watering lawns and plants and only do these activities between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Residents and businesses are also asked to conserve water during regular daily hours. This restriction will remain in effect until further notice.

The Town of Marystown would like to thank everyone for their cooperation in this matter.
