Residents are advised that the Public Works Department has started hydrant flushing in various locations around town. As a result, residents may notice some discolouration in the water. Running the cold water may help clear it.
Residents are reminded that there will be short periods of time this week when the water treatment plant will go offline and the Town will be on bypass. These shutdowns are necessary to facilitate upgrades at the plant. Again, residents may notice some discolouration in the water.
The water is safe to use and consume.
